Yankees' Clint Frazier has foot issue

New York Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier has been dealing with a foot issue for the last couple of months, per manager Aaron Boone.

What It Means:

Boone says the Yankees have been "slow-playing" Frazier but he's still been able to run and play the outfield. The 25-year-old was penciled in for an everyday role when spring training first started, but the delay to the season has allowed Aaron Hicks (elbow), Aaron Judge (rib) and Giancarlo Stanton (calf) to recover from their respective injuries. Frazier could still see some starts early on if the Yankees choose to ease those guys in. He posted a career-high .806 OPS with 12 homers and 38 RBI over 246 plate appearances last year.

Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Yankees have the second-best odds (+400) to win the 2020 World Series.
