Tigers' Daniel Norris dealing with COVID-19
Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Daniel Norris tested positive for COVID-19.
Norris was placed on the 10-day injured list without an explanation on Wednesday. He says he's symptom-free and feels "healthy and ready." Norris is expected to take the final spot in the Tigers' rotation if he's cleared. Michael Fulmer (elbow) is also in the mix after missing all of 2019 while recovering from Tommy John surgery.
numberFire's models currently expect Norris to record a 4.69 ERA and 1.42 WHIP with 50 strikeouts and 19 walks over 55 2/3 innings this season.
