Orioles' Dillon Tate struck by comebacker during Friday's intrasquad game
Baltimore Orioles relief pitcher Dillon Tate was struck by a comebacker during Friday's intrasquad game and underwent a precautionary MRI.
Tate took the blow on his right arm, and the team is still awaiting the results of the MRI. The 4th overall pick of the 2015 MLB Draft, Tate is currently battling for a long-relief role.
Assuming his MRI comes back clean, numberFire currently projects Tate to pitch 14.60 innings with a 4.93 ERA, 14 strikeouts, 7 walks, and 2 home runs allowed.
