Robinson Cano (undisclosed) returns to Mets
New York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano returned to summer camp workouts on Tuesday.
Cano hadn't been seen at Citi Field since July 6 for an undisclosed reason. It now seems like the 37-year-old veteran will be ready for Opening Day. After being limited to 80 games in 2018, Cano was limited to 107 games last season due to a variety of lower-body injuries. He finished with a career-low .256 batting average and an 11-year low .715 OPS.
numberFire's models expect Cano to record a .268 batting average and .751 OPS with 6 homers, 22 RBI, and 21 runs scored over 180 plate appearances this season.
