Zack Greinke pushed back to No. 3 in Astros' rotation
Houston Astros starting pitcher Zack Greinke will start the third game of the season on Sunday, July 26.
Greinke was scheduled to pitch the second game of the pandemic-shortened campaign, but after the team's workouts were disrupted recently so was the veteran pitcher's throwing schedule. Lance McCullers will now move up behind Justin Verlander, and Greinke will pitch third in the rotation.
Our models currently project Greinke for a 3.96 ERA with a 1.15 WHIP, 69 strikeouts and 14 walks across 70.4 innings pitched this season.
