Twins place Wilfredo Tovar (COVID-19) on 10-day injured list
Minnesota Twins infielder Wilfredo Tovar has been placed on the 10-day injured list.
What It Means:
Tovar was recently diagnosed with COVID-19, so it seems as though he'll be on the shelf for at least a little bit. He had joined the team on a minor league contract in the offseason and been placed in the 60-man player pool.
In 31 games last season, Tovar hit for a .193 batting average with 5 RBI, 5 runs and a .492 OPS.
