Angels' Julio Teheran (COVID-19) joins team at summer camp
Los Angeles Angels pitcher Julio Teheran arrived at summer camp on Friday.
Teheran has been absent since the start of camp due to COVID-19. Over a week ago it was reported that he may not be available for Opening Day, and his late arrival to camp certainly makes that a possibility. The team will need to see how fast the 29-year-old gets up to speed before deciding on his availability.
numberFire's models expect Teheran to record a 4.94 ERA and 1.42 WHIP with 60 strikeouts, and 27 walks over 64 innings this season.
