Angels' Julio Teheran (COVID-19) feels a week behind rest of staff
Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher Julio Teheran feels roughly a week behind the rest of the pitching staff, he told reporters Sunday.
Teheran was only able to report to camp this past Friday after previously testing positive for COVID-19, but it doesn't seem as though he's too far out of the loop. This news means he'll likely start the year on the injured list, but he may not be on the shelf for very long at all and could be a candidate to join the rotation on its second time around.
Our models currently project Teheran for a 4.92 ERA with a 1.42 WHIP, 60 strikeouts and 27 walks across 64.0 innings pitched this season.
