Ryan Pressly 'probably' Astros' primary closer
Houston Astros reliever Ryan Pressly will "probably" open as the club's primary closer if Roberto Osuna is not ready.
Osuna still hasn't thrown off a mound after arriving late to camp. Pressly was dealing with a finger blister but has since moved past it. The 31-year-old right-hander posted a career-high 2.32 ERA and career-high 0.90 WHIP with 72 strikeouts and 12 walks over 54 1/3 innings last season.
numberFire's models expect Pressly to record a 3.13 ERA and 1.00 WHIP with 31 strikeouts and 6 walks across 23 innings this season.
