Lorenzo Cain in Brewers' leadoff spot versus Pirates' southpaw
Milwaukee Brewers center fielder Lorenzo Cain is leading off in Monday's series opener against left-hander Steven Brault and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Cain is a career .307 hitter against lefties. He figures to be the Brewers' primary leadoff man versus southpaws this season. Cain went 3-for-4 with an RBI single and 2 runs scored on Saturday but he's gone hitless in his other two outings. The Brewers' usual leadoff hitter, Eric Sogard, is out of the lineup. Keston Hiura and Christian Yelich are in the second and third spots in the order. Justin Smoak dropped from fourth to seventh.
numberFire's models expect Cain to score 11.2 FanDuel points on Monday. He's priced at $2,900.
