Kris Bryant (elbow) back for Cubs on Wednesday
Chicago Cubs third baseman/left fielder Kris Bryant (elbow) is starting at third base and batting leadoff against right-hander Sonny Gray and the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday.
What It Means:
Bryant is back after being held out Tuesday with some elbow soreness. He will replace David Bote on third base and Anthony Rizzo will hit second after covering leadoff duties Tuesday. Victor Caratini has dropped to eighth in the order from second. David Bote was moved from fifth to seventh.
