Ryon Healy making Brewers debut Monday
Milwaukee Brewers infielder Ryon Healy is starting in Monday's series opener against left-hander Carlos Rodon and the Chicago White Sox.
The Brewers recalled Healy from their alternate training site on Monday. He will be the Brewers' designated hitter and leadoff man for Monday's opener but is expected to primarily perform in a backup role for Milwaukee this season. Justin Smoak will start on first base and bat sixth. Logan Morrison is out of the starting lineup. Keston Hiura, Christian Yelich, and Avisail Garcia are lined up 2-4 for Milwaukee. The Brewers haven't played since last Wednesday.
Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Brewers are -116 favorites on Monday.
