Ian Anderson making MLB debut on Braves' mound Tuesday
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Ian Anderson will make his MLB debut on Tuesday against the New York Yankees.
The Braves called Anderson up from their alternate training site and optioned Touki Toussaint in a corresponding roster move. Anderson, a 22-year-old right-hander, posted a 3.38 ERA with 172 strikeouts and 65 walks over 135 2/3 innings between Double- and Triple-A last season.
