Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna (wrist) is batting leadoff in the first half of Wednesday's doubleheader against right-hander Gerrit Cole and the New York Yankees.
Acuna was set to return from the injured list on Tuesday, but the game was rained out. He will take back over in the leadoff spot after missing two weeks with a left wrist issue. Dansby Swanson is the No. 2 hitter after covering leadoff duties for Atlanta. Acuna is slashing .258/.372/.515 with 4 homers, 9 RBI, 1 steal, and 12 runs scored in 18 games this season.
Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Braves are +160 underdogs on Wednesday.
