Charlie Morton (shoulder) returning to Rays' mound Wednesday
The Tampa Bay Rays activated Charlie Morton (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list.
Morton will return to the mound Wednesday for a start against the New York Yankees after missing over three weeks due to right shoulder inflammation. He threw a 5.40 ERA over 16 2/3 innings (four starts) before landing on the IL, compared to a 3.05 ERA across 194 2/3 innings last year. The Rays optioned first baseman/outfielder Brian O'Grady to their alternate training site in a corresponding roster move.
numberFire's models expect Morton to score 14.8 FanDuel points on Wednesday. He costs $7,800.
