Dominic Smith back for Mets against Orioles
New York Mets outfielder/first baseman Dominic Smith is in the starting lineup on Wednesday against right-hander Jorge Lopez and the Baltimore Orioles.
Smith will man first base and bat cleanup after sitting out Tuesday. Pete Alonso will shift to designated hitter as the Mets' sixth batter. J.D. Davis will move to the hot corner in place of Todd Frazier and bat third.
