Cubs' Jose Martinez batting eighth Tuesday
Chicago Cubs outfielder/designated hitter Jose Martinez is in the starting lineup on Tuesday versus left-hander Steven Brault and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Martinez will replace Victor Caratini at DH and bat eighth in his first start since being recalled from the Cubs' alternate training site. He's gone 0-for-17 in eight games in a Cubs uniform.
numberFire's models expect Martinez to score 7.4 FanDuel points on Tuesday with a salary of $2,300. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Cubs currently have an implied total of 4.6 runs.
