Joe Panik on Blue Jays' bench Thursday
Toronto Blue Jays infielder Joe Panik is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against left-hander Jordan Montgomery and the New York Yankees.
Bo Bichette will take back over on shortstop in place of Panik while Alejandro Kirk makes a start as the Blue Jays' designated hitter and bats seventh. Panik has gone 1-for-17 in his last six games.
numberFire's models expect Kirk to score 7.6 FanDuel points on Thursday with a salary of $2,000. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Blue Jays currently have an implied total of 4.7 runs.
