Austin Riley (quad) on first base Friday for Atlanta
Atlanta Braves infielder/outfielder Austin Riley (quadriceps tightness) will start in Friday's series opener against right-hander Chris Mazza and the Boston Red Sox.
Riley will replace Freddie Freeman on first base and bat sixth after being held out of the past two games for minor quadriceps tightness. Adam Duvall will move up to the cleanup spot and Ozzie Albies will hit second. Riley owns a .239/.295/.418 slash line over 200 plate appearances this season.
numberFire's models expect Riley to score 10.1 FanDuel points on Friday with a salary of $2,800. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Braves currently have the highest implied total (5.9 runs) in a game with the highest over/under (10.5 runs) on Friday's slate.
