Shogo Akiyama leading off for Reds in Game 2 on Thursday
Cincinnati Reds outfielder Shogo Akiyama is in the leadoff spot for Game 2 of the Wild Card Round on Thursday afternoon versus right-hander Ian Anderson and the Atlanta Braves.
Akiyama will man left field and bat leadoff in his postseason debut. Nick Senzel will drop to seventh after going 2-for-4 with a strikeout as the Reds' leadoff man in Wednesday's Game 1 loss. Cincinnati's full Game 2 lineup: Akiyama LF, Nick Castellanos RF, Joey Votto 1B, Eugenio Suarez 3B, Mike Moustakas 2B, Jesse Winker DH, Senzel CF, Freddy Galvis SS, Tucker Barnhart C.
