Yandy Diaz leading off for Rays in World Series opener
Tampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz will play first base and bat leadoff on Tuesday in Game 1 of the World Series versus left-hander Clayton Kershaw and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Diaz exclusively hit cleanup in the American League Championship Series. This will be his first time batting leadoff since Game 4 of the ALDS. He's taking Ji-Man Choi's spot in the field and moving Manuel Margot to No. 5 in the order.
