Cardinals' Miles Mikolas' (elbow) recovery slowed by "creaky shoulder"
St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Miles Mikolas (elbow) has had his recovery process slowed by a "creaky shoulder", but is still expected to participate in today's throwing session.
Mikolas underwent surgery almost seven months ago, and while setbacks are always something to be wary of, it does seem that Mikolas should return early in the season.
Our models project Mikolas to pitch 145 innings in the 2021 season, with 115 strikeouts, 21 home runs allowed, and a 4.16 ERA.
