Willson Contreras leading off for Cubs against Pirates
Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras will bat leadoff in Thursday afternoon's series opener against left-hander Tyler Anderson and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Contreras will get a rare turn at the top of the order as Ian Happ takes a seat following a rough start to the season at the plate. Contreras will catch Jake Arrieta and replace Tony Wolters behind the plate.
numberFire’s models project Contreras for 11.5 FanDuel points versus the Pirates and he has a salary of $2,900 on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Cubs have an implied total of 4.5 runs.
