Ryan Zimmerman on first base Friday for Nationals
Washington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman will start in Friday afternoon's series opener against right-hander Walker Buehler and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Zimmerman will replace Hernan Perez on first base and bat cleanup. He went a combined 4-for-8 with a double and a run scored in his first two starts. Starlin Castro will bat behind Zimmerman on Friday.
