Athletics' Seth Brown on first base Tuesday afternoon
Oakland Athletics first baseman/outfielder Seth Brown will start on Tuesday afternoon against right-hander Zac Gellen and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
What It Means:
Brown will replace Matt Olson (thumb) on first base and bat fifth. Olson was hit in his left thumb on Monday and is considered day-to-day after X-rays came back negative. Matt Chapman will step into the cleanup spot.
