Giancarlo Stanton sitting for Yankees Wednesday afternoon
New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander T.J. Zeuch and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Stanton appears to be getting a breather. He's slashing .175/.233/.275 with a single home run through 43 plate appearances. Gary Sanchez will serve as the Yankees' designated hitter while Kyle Higashioka will catch Corey Kluber and hit ninth. Jay Bruce has been moved up to hit sixth.
numberFire’s models project Sanchez for 12.8 FanDuel points versus the Blue Jays and he has a salary of $2,900 on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Yankees currently have the highest implied total (5.5 runs) out of every team on Wednesday's slate.
