Kris Bryant taking seat for Cubs' finale with Brewers
Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Corbin Burnes and the Milwaukee Brewers.
David Bote will man the hot corner in place of Bryant and bat seventh. Joc Pederson will bat cleanup and Javier Baez will bat fifth.
numberFire’s models project Bote for 9.6 FanDuel points versus the Brewers and he has a salary of $2,200 on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Cubs have an implied total of 3.4 runs, the third-lowest among all teams on Wednesday's slate.
