Anthony Bemboom catching for Angels Wednesday afternoon
Los Angeles Angels catcher Anthony Bemboom is in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Brad Keller and the Kansas City Royals.
Bemboom was recalled from the Angels' alternate training site earlier this week to replace Max Stassi (thumb sprain, IL). He will start at catcher Wednesday over Kurt Suzuki and bat eighth in his first action of the 2021 season.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Angels-Royals game is being played in the most batter-friendly stadium among active parks Wednesday. The Angels have an implied total of 4.6 runs versus Keller and company.
