Chicago Cubs infielder David Bote (illness) has been scratched from Tuesday's game against the New York Mets.
Bote is dealing with an upset stomach and will not play against the Mets on Tuesday. Eric Sogard will get the start at second base and bat eighth versus right-hander Taijuan Walker and the Mets.
