Jace Peterson put on Brewers IL with thumb injury
The Milwaukee Brewers placed infielder/outfielder Jace Peterson on the 10-day injured list with a left thumb injury.
What It Means:
Peterson initially suffered the injury during spring training. The Brewers haven't indicated how much time Peterson may miss. They activated Kolten Wong from the 10-day injured list in a related roster move. Wong will return to second base Friday and bat out of the leadoff spot versus right-hander Kyle Hendricks and the Chicago Cubs.
