Josh Bell dropped to sixth in Nationals' lineup Wednesday
Washington Nationals first baseman Josh Bell has been dropped to the sixth spot in the order for Wednesday's game against left-hander Steven Matz and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Bell has been the Nationals' cleanup man this year but manager Davey Martinez has bumped the first baseman down a couple of spots. He's slashing just .109/.192/.217 through 52 plate appearances. Starlin Castro will hit cleanup and Josh Harrison has been moved up to second in the order.
numberFire’s models project Bell for 10.3 FanDuel points versus the Blue Jays and he has a salary of $2,800 on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Nationals have an implied total of 4.2 runs.
