Michael Taylor taking seat Monday for Kansas City
Kansas City Royals outfielder Michael Taylor will not start in Monday's series opener against right-hander Aaron Civale and the Cleveland Indians.
Jarrod Dyson will start in center field over Taylor and hit eighth. It appears to be a routine day off for Taylor.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Royals are playing in the most batter-friendly park out of the nine stadiums hosting games on Monday. Civale owns a 20.5 percent strikeout rate and 7.1 percent walk rate this season.
