Joc Pederson returns, will bat leadoff for Cubs Monday
The Chicago Cubs listed Joc Pederson as their starter in left field for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Pederson will play left field and bat leadoff against Dodgers right-hander Walker Buehler. Kris Bryant will shift to center field, and Ian Happ will sit Monday out.
Pederson has a $2,400 salary for tonight's game against his former team. He's batting just .137 with a .498 OPS and 1 home run so far this season over 61 plate appearances.
