Pablo Sandoval absent from Braves' lineup in Washington
Atlanta Braves infielder Pablo Sandoval is not in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Joe Ross and the Washington Nationals.
Sandoval served as the Braves' designated hitter over the weekend during a road set against the Toronto Blue Jays. He will be available off the bench Tuesday evening.
