Tucker Barnhart on Reds' bench Wednesday afternoon
Cincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart will not start on Wednesday afternoon against left-hander Dallas Keuchel and the Chicago White Sox due to mid-back tightness.
Tyler Stephenson will bat seventh and catch Sonny Gray while Barnhart grabs a seat. Barnhart accounted for the Reds' only two hits on Tuesday as they were shut out by the White Sox. He owns a career-best .951 OPS so far this season.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Reds are facing the pitcher with the lowest strikeout percentage (12.2) out of the 30 listed starters on Wednesday's slate. Stephenson has a $2,500 salary on Wednesday and our models project him for 7.7 FanDuel points.
