Nick Castellanos (back) returning for Reds Friday
Cincinnati Reds right fielder Nick Castellanos (back) is back in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against right-hander Zach Plesac and the Cleveland Indians.
Castellanos was scratched from the Reds' starting lineup on Wednesday due to mid-back tightness and he exited early on Tuesday for the same reason. He will bat third Friday and return to right field while Tyler Naquin moves to center. Nick Senzel will shift inside to second base in place of Jonathan India. Mike Moustakas has been moved up to the cleanup spot and Eugenio Suarez is lined up fifth.
numberFire’s models project Castellanos for 12.5 FanDuel points and he has a $4,100 salary on Friday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Reds have an implied total of 3.7 runs.
