Twins' Byron Buxton (hip) placed on injured list
Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (hip) has been placed on the injured list and will not be available for Friday's game against the Detroit Tigers.
Buxton has been diagnosed with a grade two hip strain is expected to miss multiple weeks as he recovers. Jake Cave will start in center field on Friday and bat ninth versus left-hander Tarik Skubal and the Tigers.
The Twins implied team total of 4.86 runs is the second-highest team total on Friday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
