Bryan Reynolds (lower body) back in Pirates' lineup Monday

Pittsburgh Pirates center fielder Bryan Reynolds (lower body) is back in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Tyler Mahle and the Cincinnati Reds.

What It Means:

Reynolds was held out the last two days due to what the team referred to as a lower-body injury. He went 0-for-5 in his last outing and ended a five-game hitting streak. Reynolds will play center field on Monday and bat second. Wilmer Difo will move to third base in place of Erik Gonzalez. Kevin Newman has been bumped down to eighth in the order after hitting second last game.

numberFire’s models project Reynolds for 9.3 FanDuel points and he has a $3,100 salary on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, Mahle owns the highest strikeout percentage (32.8) out of Monday's 10 listed starters and the Pirates are one of only two teams with an implied total below 3.5 runs.
