Nationals' Yadiel Hernandez out of lineup Tuesday
Washington Nationals outfielder Yadiel Hernandez is not in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Chase Anderson and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Juan Soto will move to right field in place of Hernandez after playing designated hitter in Sunday's interleague series finale against the New York Yankees. He will bat second, followed by Josh Bell and Kyle Schwarber. Yan Gomes, Starlin Castro, and Josh Harrison will be the Nationals' 5-7 batters.
numberFire’s models project Soto for 14.4 FanDuel points and he has a $4,000 salary on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Nationals' implied total (4.7 runs) is tied for third-highest out of every team in the majors on Tuesday.
