Twins' Bailey Ober to start Tuesday in MLB debut
Minnesota Twins right-handed pitcher Bailey Ober will make his major league debut Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox.
Ober was called up after Michael Pineda was scratched with a non-pitching-related health ailment. Ober, a 25-year-old right-hander, was a 12th-round pick in the Twins' 2017 draft class.
Ober recorded a 0.69 ERA and 0.81 WHIP with 100 strikeouts and just 9 walks between the Twins Rookie League club, High-A Fort Myers, and Double-A Pensacola in 2019.
