Fernando Tatis Jr. (COVID-19) back for Padres Wednesday
The San Diego Padres activated shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. from the COVID-19 injured list.
Tatis missed 10 days and was reportedly asymptomatic the entire time. He will return to shortstop and the cleanup spot for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Chi Chi Gonzalez and the Colorado Rockies. Ha-Seong Kim is out of the lineup for Wednesday's matinee.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, Gonzalez owns the second-lowest strikeout percentage (11.3) among every listed starter on Wednesday.
