Seattle Mariners first baseman / outfielder Sam Haggerty (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Monday.
What It Means:
Haggerty will miss time after Seattle's utility-man recently experienced shoulder inflammation. Expect Jacob Nottingham to see more at-bats until Haggerty is healthy enough to return.
According to Baseball Savant on 59 batted balls this season, Haggerty has produced a 5.1% barrel rate and a .219 expected average.
