Royals' Edward Olivares receives Thursday off
Kansas City Royals outfielder Edward Olivares is not starting in Thursday's contest against the Minnesota Twins.
What It Means:
Olivares will head to the bench after Jorge Soler was named Thursday's starting right fielder against their divisional competition.
According to Baseball Savant on eight batted balls this season, Olivares has produced a .247 expected average and a 12.5% hard hit rate.
