Kyle Schwarber leading off Tuesday for Nationals
Washington Nationals left fielder Kyle Schwarber will bat leadoff in Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Tyler Glasnow and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Nationals manager Davey Martinez said he's hitting Schwarber leadoff to "jump start our offense a little bit." He has primarily batted cleanup this season. Trea Turner will hit second and Juan Soto will bat third.
numberFire’s models project Schwarber for 10.0 FanDuel points and he has a $2,200 salary on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Nationals have the second-lowest implied total (3.1 runs) in the majors on Tuesday.
