Nelson Cruz (knee) back Wednesday for Twins
Minnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz (knee) is back in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against right-hander Gerrit Cole and the New York Yankees.
What It Means:
Cruz missed the last two games and he remains less than 100 percent, but he will tough it out and resume DH duties on Wednesday as the Twins' cleanup man. Josh Donaldson will shift to third base in place of Willians Astudillo.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, Cole owns the best strikeout rate (36.5 percent) and second-best walk rate (3.9 percent) out of Wednesday's listed starters.
