Tom Murphy back behind Mariners' plate Thursday
Seattle Mariners catcher Tom Murphy is in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Tyler Alexander and the Detroit Tigers.
Murphy will bat sixth and catch Justus Sheffield after being held out of the previous lineup. Jose Godoy should be available off the bench after filling in.
Murphy is numberFire's top point-per-dollar value among all hitters on Thursday's slate. He has a $2,100 salary and our models project him for 12.9 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mariners are tied with the Red Sox for having the fourth-highest implied total (4.6 runs) in the majors on Thursday.
