Fernando Tatis Jr. (shoulder) back in Padres' lineup Monday
San Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (shoulder) is back in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against left-hander Julio Urias and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Tatis was held out Sunday as a precaution after he injured his shoulder on Saturday. He will return to shortstop on Monday and bat second. Ha-Seong Kim will shift to second base and Jake Cronenworth will move to first base in place of Eric Hosmer.
numberFire’s models project Tatis for 13.4 FanDuel points and he has a $4,700 salary on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Padres have an implied total of 3.7 runs and they are -130 favorites over the Dodgers.
