Giants place Brandon Belt (knee) on 10-day injured list
San Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt was placed on the 10-day injured list on Friday.
What It Means:
Belt will miss time after San Francisco's veteran recently experienced right knee inflammation. Expect LaMonte Wade Jr. to see more at-bats after he was called up on Friday.
Per Baseball Savant on 106 batted balls this season, Belt has produced a 15.1% barrel rate and a .215 expected average.
