Luis Torrens at DH Thursday for Mariners
Seattle Mariners catcher Luis Torrens is playing designated hitter and batting seventh in Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Jordan Montgomery and the New York Yankees.

Torrens was rested on Wednesday and he will only have to play offense on Thursday. Tom Murphy is starting at catcher again for Seattle. Jake Fraley, who played DH on Wednesday, is shifting to center field in place of Taylor Trammell.
