Tigers' Akil Baddoo taking seat Thursday
Detroit Tigers outfielder Akil Baddoo is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against left-hander J.A. Happ and the Minnesota Twins.
Baddoo is getting a breather after starting the previous six contests. Niko Goodrum is playing center field and hitting leadoff in his first start since being activated from the injured list for a left finger issue.
numberFire’s models project Goodrum for 10.0 FanDuel points and he has a $2,400 salary on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Tigers have an implied total of 4.6 runs. Among Thursday's listed starters, Happ is registering the third-worst strikeout rate this season (17.6 percent).
